Anyuta Lifshitz

Anyuta was born in 1928 in Kiev, Ukraine. Following the German invasion of Kiev on September 19, 1941, thousands of Jews were targeted for extermination. On September 29 and 30, 33,771 Jewish women, men, and children were shot and thrown into the ravine at Babi Yar, located on the outskirts of Kiev. Anyuta and her family were among those killed.
